Knee Pain Diagnosis

Knee pain can be caused by problems with the knee joint itself, or it can be caused by conditions affecting the soft tissues — ligaments, tendons, menisci, or bursae — that surround the knee.

The severity of knee pain can vary widely. Some people may feel only a slight twinge, while others may experience debilitating knee pain that interferes with their day-to-day activities. The risk of developing chronic knee pain is higher if you have sustained a previous knee injury or if you are overweight.

Stiffness, swelling, bruising, or being unable to place weight on the knee joint are some signs and symptoms that your knee requires medical evaluation.

After correctly diagnosing the cause of your knee pain using various diagnostic imaging tests, including xrays, CT scans, and/or MRIs, along with a comprehensive knee evaluation, we will formulate a customized treatment plan to effectively alleviate your pain.
